@adrian – I was pretty anti-co-sleeping for a long time for many of the same reasons. Perhaps it was the divorce or the fact that he’s my last…my guard is down and he’s in. I’m sure I’m bound to regret it soon. He’s growing fast and sleeps horizontally.

@Lee Normally I’d love it. Not so much today when he came to by bedside at 5 am and I had been up in the bathroom all night.

Sorry about the rest – but jury duty? That can be so much fun if you get the right case. Bring a book to read while waiting though, at least it’s only one day if you aren’t picked. Maybe you’ll get a three month murder trial.

Oh. My. God. That kid is soooooo cute. I love this post. I have a little guy too you know. He’s 2. And he’s recently been saying to me “Mama, sleep me.” He wants me to sleep with him. Sometimes it’s hard to find a comfortable space on his twin bed but when the cuddling makes it all worthwhile. And boy it ends too quickly. Cuddle that boy up mama. Good for you.

Awww how cute. That is the one thing I can’t handle. I feel bad, but I just can NOT sleep with kids, pets, or anything else. They’re just too hot, too heavy, and too squirmy. My husband is lucky I keep him! I feel like I’m missing out on something though.

Zoë’s just started doing that, most mornings. She walks silently up, stares at me really hard, tries ever so gently to climb onto the futon and then bashes me in the head with her own.

We almost always had one or the other – and sometimes both – when the older two were young enough to crawl into bed with Mommy and Daddy. We used to make ‘kid sandwiches’. Thanks for bringing that back to my mind. It’s been way too long.
