Fear & Parenting in Las Vegas

Family fun in Sin City.

Blessed to be home

I got home yesterday afternoon from an interesting Texas adventure. It feels great to be home. It’s the first time I’ve seen Homer in nearly two weeks. I’ll be blessing him in a few minutes (*ahem*).

It seems like Doodle grew two inches and became even more stubborn since I was away. Boo apparently got into her first scrum with a boy at Ye Olde Catholic School. After some not-so-gentle quizzing, it sounds like the man-boy was pushing her around and lashed out at Boo for defending herself.

Band-aid and all, I’m a proud mama.

All of this coincidentally happened after I posted about bullying at the Imperfect Parent. I apparently stirred up a sensitive subject and some equally sensitive personal stories from my readers. Read and weigh in on the conversation.

My heartfelt thanks to Red Lotus Mama, Ruprecht, BigPoppa, and DevylGirl for filling in for me while I was away. You are all blessings in my life and I an forever grateful.
