Thursday Thirteen: 13 things I want for my birthday

Yes folks, just a few more days left before FandPinLV (also known as Marge to some of you) moves deeper into the top half of her thirtieth decade. Life’s been a little hectic lately, so I haven’t put too much thought into any wish lists. So, what better time than my weekly TT to register my desires? Get your gold platinum cards out, ’cause here we go!

1. To be completely caught up on my posts for Savvy Source and have a stable of witty and insightful ideas ready for the Imperfect Parent.
2. An extra week (or four) of paid vacation time.
3. My dad to be the healthy, vibrant, and active guy that I knew 20 years ago.
4. A gourmet dinner for two with Homer (This one’s really gonna happen. Stay tuned for the review!)
5. A Mommy Job. I’m not superficial, I just hate gravity and want to be as hawt on the outside as I am on the inside.
6. Tim Gunn to help me buy a fabu new wardrobe for my fabu new body.
7. A full body treatment and massage from Green Valley Ranch Spa.
8. Hair like Debra Messing’s.



9. A hybrid version of the Honda Odyssey.
10. A water softener. (‘m tired of cleaning the mineral deposits off EVERYTHING in my house!)
11. New hardwood floors in my entryway and dining room. Okay, I’ll settle for laminate. I’m just tired of the crappy tile and of vacuuming under the table all the time.
12. For this guy to win, unite the country, and serve with distinction.
13. Spend an entire day with each kid (solo) doing nothing but fun stuff.

We have five days left, people. Let’s get crackin’, eh?
