Thursday Thirteen - Eating it up

My buddy I Read Banned Books has inspired me to post my Thursday Thirteen. I’ve been at a conference here in town all week, and being the only local in the group, was doling out lots of dining recommendations. So, here are 13 great eateries in Las Vegas (that are not in hotel/casinos).
- Fuji Japanese (Site of my first date with Homer)
- Osaka (one of Homer’s favorite sushi places)
- Hash House-a-go-go
- Battista’s Hole in the Wall
- Paymon’s Mediterranean Cafe
- Opa
- Grape Street Cafe
- Lucille’s
- Lindo Michoachan
- Tillerman
- Frank and Fina’s Cucina
- Viva Mercado’s
- Grimaldi’s
Feel free to add yours to the list.

Happy TT! You living in Sin City (Las Vegas) and I live in the City that never Sleeps (NYC). This list sounds very appetizing and your making me hungry. Hope to see you at my 2nd edition about Nora Roberts at Talk About My Favorite Authors blog.
I’ve lived here 2 years and the only place I know on your list is Paymon’s. I love Paymon’s! Have to explore the others. Love the blog. I think it’s completely fabulous that your husband’s name is Homer.
Thanks Cute4Life261 - I’m a big fan of La Bonne Soupe in NYC. I plan my hotel stay so I can eat there at least once each visit.
Thanks BHJ. I hope you’re enjoying our fair city. Saw that you’re in Scummerlin, so Grape Street is right in your area (Buffalo and Lake Mead). Yes - Homer does live up to his name. While he does have moments of brilliant epiphany a la the Greek philosopher, his tendencies more often lead toward the orangish, doughnut-loving, beer swilling, bubmling, but well-intentioned resident of Springfield. Enjoy and be sure to check out some of the other entries about great Vegas finds. I am in PR, but my endorsements and comments are completely unsolicited.
